Here is an early season player rater for the first few weeks of the season. Congrats to Mia Izzo of Park Ridge for leading the state thus far. Fifty-three (53) young ladies qualify to be at the 99th percentile on the early season radar. These ratings will certainly move around as the season progresses. Also, we are using sets played per team rather than the individual sets identified for each player in the state database. These numbers are just not reliable in their first year of collection. We love the idea of collecting this data and urge team statisticians to enter these data points accurately for the future.
