Here is the final player rater for NJ Boys High School Volleyball for 2025. These ratings are based on the NJP player algorithm which measures overall play by weighting statistical contributions as well as schedule strength factor. There is a 25 set minimum for awards and for inclusion in the rating system. Other players ratings who do not meet the minimum are shown at the bottom of the analysis.
After a considerable amount of analysis, three teams were found to have significant deviations from normal levels in their score keeping. This is usually the result of improper recordkeeping when recording stats on a nightly basis. These three teams had numerous occasions of stats totaling impossible outcomes. All three teams players stats were adjusted downward in all categories by 30% to provide fairness across all other players in the state.
Congratulation to NJP’s New Jersey Player of the Year Troy Markle from Old Bridge. Troy edged Adam Uryniuk of Weehawken for top honors in the state. Both players will be playing D1 college volleyball next season along with 8 other NJ players.
