Looking Ahead

As county tournaments progress and state playoffs approach, these rankings will lay the groundwork for seeding and paths to championships. NJP has consistently outperformed power point seeding. The top-ranked teams will aim to maintain their momentum while those in the middle of the pack still have opportunities to improve their positions.

The NJP rankings incorporate wins, losses, set records, points scored and allowed, trends and strength of schedule into a comprehensive algorithm that has proven remarkably accurate at predicting match outcomes throughout the season. With nearly 350 teams ranked, the data provides a complete picture of the competitive landscape across New Jersey high school volleyball.

Congrats to Jayda Quigley of Pinelands for her victory in the NJP Action Photo Contest. Kudos to Julianna Stingle of WMC for coming so close, missing the top spot by less than 1 percentage point.
