With one of the closest contests we have ever run, and hotly contested leading right up to the midnight deadline, Jayda Quigley of Pinelands edges out Juliana Stingle of West Morris Central by 100 votes getting 26.2% of the votes compared to 25.3% from Stingle. Juliana was leading through Thursday evening, with Friday resulting in back and forth leaders, but Saturday provided the deciding votes.

Kaelin Bobetich of Princeton grabs the bronze with 14%. Over 12,000 votes were cast for the contest. All players got considerable support but the student bodies for the Cougars and the Wolfpack made the difference for the 2 leaders.

Due to the closeness of the outcome, we will be providing both players the opportunity for feature articles and interviews for the NJP website.
