We took a stab, as of the morning of May 1, to show a combined player rating for NJ High School Volleyball players. The formula is simple, adding one point for every Ace, Service Point, Dig, Assist, Kill and Block and then taking that sum and divide by the number of sets played by each player. This establishes a “Point per Set” factor to compare all players in the state. (Note there is a bit of an advantage to setters in this scenario)
