Quotes from NJ Coaches
"Never give up is one of the things you'll hear me say on the court and with my teams. Live life that way! Adversity will always come after you. But it is also up to you if you let it take you down. Never give up!"
Pedro Mundaray | Head Coach at CORE Volleyball
Quotes from NJ Coaches
"Play like there is no tomorrow in every second you step out on the court. You never know when you will play your last point so cherish every moment you touch the ball whether it is in victory or defeat."
Marc Gaydos | Boys Head Coach Jefferson Falcons
Quotes from NJ Coaches
"New Jersey volleyball has grown as a volleyball community so much since I started coaching almost a decade ago. The competition and level of play has increased in high school and club ball. Sideout Sports is home to 24 club teams and those teams are filled with kids from dozens of high schools. I love that! In these unfortunate times, it’s so important for us to stick together as a community and provide our amazing sport for these young athletes. I am honored to be a part of the next 10 years of evolution."
Justin Beaumont | NJCU Women's Head Volleyball Coach
Quotes from NJ Coaches
"Learn from the past, live in the now, create your future!"
Pedro Trevino | Head Women's Volleyball Coach-NJIT
Tips from Team Freedom Pro's
If you love the game commit to it 100% on and off the court. Effort goes a long way in the gym, but being a good athlete and teammate means finding a balance – you can’t give 100% on the court and 50% in the classroom or in other aspects of your life. Being well-rounded as a person, not just an athlete, contributes more to your athletic success than you know. Give your full effort both on and off the court. -Ryan Kenny

On Serving: Serving the stack can be very effective especially when it is in zone 2. When floating, pick a target and serve their seam/keep them moving. When jumping, keep the ball in front of you, aim for seams… even the hardest jump serve is easy if it’s right at the passer, a good float serve is almost always better than an OK jump serve. -Chris Nugent
