Pinelands continued its dominant run through the Shore Conference Tournament, sweeping Trinity Hall 3–0 in Thursday’s quarterfinal matchup. The Wildcats, now 20–3 overall and a perfect 10–0 in Shore A South, controlled the match from start to finish with set scores of 25–11, 25–12, and 25–15. Trinity Hall fell to 15–10 with the loss, ending its tournament run. Senior standout Madison Wilbert once again led the way for Pinelands, posting 20 kills, 9 digs, and 3 aces in a commanding all-around performance. Setter Riley McQuaid paced the offense with 12 assists while spreading the ball efficiently among several options, and Jayda Quigley made a strong impact from the back row with 11 digs and 7 aces, giving the Wildcats a huge advantage on serve. Trinity Hall, led by Helen Taylor with 5 kills and Molly Fennessy with 7 assists, battled to stay in rallies but struggled to contain Pinelands’ front-line attack. The Wildcats’ serving pressure and defensive coverage left little room for the Monarchs to find rhythm. With the victory, Pinelands advances to the Shore Conference semifinals on Tuesday, October 28, where they will face the winner of the Southern vs. Donovan Catholic quarterfinal. The Wildcats remain one of the most balanced and efficient teams in the Shore, combining power, depth, and consistency as they continue their push toward the tournament final at Georgian Court University on October 30.

Rutgers Prep continued its strong late-season form on Thursday evening with a straight-set victory over Delaware Valley, winning 25–17, 25–22. The Argonauts improved to 16–3 overall and remained unbeaten in Skyland Conference Raritan Division play (9–0), while Delaware Valley dropped to 4–16. Once again, Aubrey Franz led the attack with 11 kills, pacing an efficient Rutgers Prep offense that showed depth and consistency throughout the match. Setter Rebecca Panacek delivered 20 assists and added 6 digs, keeping the offense balanced and unpredictable. Anushka Gubbala added 5 kills and 8 digs, while Laela Domanski contributed both defensively and behind the service line with 5 assists and 2 aces. Rutgers Prep dominated early behind aggressive serving and precise passing, taking control of the first set with a steady rhythm. Delaware Valley responded in the second set with improved defense and longer rallies, but Rutgers Prep’s offensive execution proved too strong down the stretch as the Argonauts closed out the match with composure. The win marks ten victories in their last 11 matches for Rutgers Prep as they look to carry their momentum into postseason play. With Franz’s continued power at the net and Panacek’s steady direction of the offense, the Argonauts remain one of the top contenders in the Skyland Conference heading into state tournament season.

The Secaucus Patriots continued their dominant 2025 campaign with a decisive 25–10, 25–21 sweep of New Milford on Thursday afternoon. The victory improved Secaucus to 21–2 overall and a perfect 13–0 in the NJIC Colonial Division, where they already secured first place. Sofia Guzman led the Patriots’ balanced offense with 7 kills and 6 digs, providing both front-row power and back-row stability. Setter Sarah Veloz once again orchestrated the attack efficiently, finishing with 19 assists and 4 digs. Olivia Jasiczek added another strong all-around performance, tallying 6 kills and 3 blocks, while Avalyn Torres provided a spark at the service line with 3 aces. Secaucus set the tone early with relentless serving pressure and crisp passing that allowed Veloz to distribute freely across multiple hitting options. The Patriots jumped out to a commanding lead in the first set, holding New Milford to just 10 points. In the second set, New Milford showed more resilience, tightening its defense and keeping rallies alive, but Secaucus maintained control down the stretch with disciplined defense and timely swings. With Thursday’s win, Secaucus continued to demonstrate the consistency that has made them one of North Jersey’s most complete teams. Their offense remains balanced, their blocking dependable, and their serve receive steady, all trademarks of a squad built for a deep tournament run.

The Livingston Lancers continued their strong season Thursday with a straight-set sweep of Mount St. Dominic, winning 25–12, 25–17. The victory improved Livingston to 16–5 overall, solidifying their place among Essex County’s top contenders heading into the postseason stretch. Camilla Dong powered the Lancers’ attack with 8 kills and steady play from the outside. Setter Arya Shukla efficiently directed the offense, totaling 17 assists and 3 digs, while Cadence Sturt provided solid support at the net with 5 kills and 2 aces. Valeria Tolstenkov anchored the middle with 1 block and 2 kills, and Alina Zaster made an impact from the service line, adding 3 aces to fuel Livingston’s first-set surge. Livingston controlled the tempo from the outset, using strong serving and disciplined passing to build early leads in both sets. Their defense kept rallies alive, and quick transitions turned passes into scoring opportunities. Mount St. Dominic, now 10–11, struggled to find their pace against Livingston’s consistent pressure and front-row efficiency. With balanced contributions across the lineup, the Lancers demonstrated the depth and focus that has defined their late-season push. Livingston looks poised to make noise in both the Essex County and state tournaments, backed by a well-rounded attack and experienced leadership. They face West Orange in the quarter-finals tomorrow.

The #2 Williamstown Braves kept their undefeated season alive with a decisive 2–0 victory over Kingsway, winning 25–15, 25–11 on Thursday night. Stella Eberly added 4 kills, 2 blocks, and 9 digs, while Sabrina Aslanian contributed 4 kills and a block. The Braves’ serving was another weapon, as six players recorded at least one ace, including Vanessa Eberly, Ava Carabin, and Lora Kunicki. Kingsway, now 16–4 overall, was led by Sofia Oravetz with 5 kills and 3 digs, while Reese Patterson tallied 3 kills and 2 blocks. Setter Sophie Park managed 8 assists, but the Dragons were unable to sustain long scoring runs against Williamstown’s depth and defensive pressure. Williamstown’s ability to dominate both offensively and defensively has made them one of the most complete teams in the state. The Braves’ chemistry and versatility continue to shine as they move toward postseason play, where they’ll look to add another championship to an already historic season.

The Princeton Tigers continued their strong late-season surge with a commanding 2–0 sweep over Burlington Township, winning by scores of 25–12, 25–11 on Thursday evening. The victory lifts Princeton to 19–5 overall, while Burlington Township falls to 14–8. The Tigers’ balanced attack was led by standout hitter Naomi Lygas, who once again showcased her offensive consistency with 12 kills and 4 digs. Setter Kaelin Bobetich had a complete performance, contributing 15 assists, 2 blocks, and 4 digs while also playing a key role in controlling the pace of the match. Charlotte Woods added 5 kills and 2 digs, while Joanna Hou anchored the back row with 7 digs and 3 aces. Princeton’s depth showed across the lineup, as multiple players impacted the stat sheet… Lily Cao and Camila Barbosa each added steady defense and setting support, and Carmen Barbosa contributed both a kill and a block. For Burlington Township, it was a tough night offensively, as the Tigers’ blocking and floor coverage disrupted flow and limited scoring opportunities. The Tigers’ blend of powerful hitting from Lygas and smooth playmaking from Bobetich has made them one of the most efficient and disciplined teams in Central Jersey volleyball this fall.

The Villagers improved to 16–4 overall, while Cedar Creek concluded its regular season at 15–8. It was a complete and confident showing from OLM, powered by an electric offensive performance from Kaitlyn Rambo, who notched 15 kills and provided consistent pressure on the Pirates’ defense. Khalia Lewis was equally dominant at the net, contributing 14 kills and a match-high 5 blocks, establishing a physical tone that Cedar Creek struggled to overcome. Setter Juliet Felicetti orchestrated the attack with precision, tallying 28 assists, 6 digs, and 2 aces, keeping the offense balanced and unpredictable throughout. Defensive specialist Emma Eddis anchored the backcourt with 25 digs and steady serve receive, while Natalie D’Ottavio added 4 kills, 6 digs, and 2 aces to round out a cohesive team performance. Cedar Creek battled hard in the opening two sets but couldn’t sustain momentum against the relentless rhythm and depth of OLM’s lineup. By the third set, the Villagers’ ball control and blocking turned the match into a showcase of efficiency and focus. With the victory, Our Lady of Mercy advances to the Cape-Atlantic League Championship, where they will face the winner of Ocean City vs. Atlantic Tech, and aim to capture the title behind one of the region’s most balanced and disciplined attacks.

Defensive coverage was sharp as well, led by Lilith Roman’s 10 digs and Ella Kovalcik’s 4 digs and 2 assists. For Gov. Livingston, Abby Kim put together an impressive all-around performance with 11 kills, 2 aces, and solid net defense. Setter Sierra Isbirian contributed 16 assists and 3 aces, helping the Highlanders keep the second set competitive before Immaculate Heart closed it out with late-set precision. With the victory, Immaculate Heart continues to look like one of North Jersey’s most complete squads, strong in serve receive, dominant in attack, and cohesive in every phase. The Blue Eagles’ discipline and depth will make them a tough draw for any opponent as non-public brackets form next week. They will face Demarest in the Bergen County semi-final Saturday.
