Player quote: “Looking forward to an amazing season. We have a lot of returning players from our last season’s state championship team. I’m a 6’1 hitter that looks forward to bringing even more to our program this upcoming season. Our prior season was very successful, but we need to continue to improve and work hard to stay on top. Can’t wait to get started!” – Dajah Williams
I am coachable, hardworking, passionate, a very supportive teammate, always up for a challenge, and I love the competition.
“My love for volleyball began in 4th grade after I attended a volleyball camp that was at my local high school in Williamstown. I loved everything about the sport right away after going to the camp, and little did I know how much my life was changed after going to it. Once I got to middle school, I began playing intramural volleyball for the high school volleyball coach. My current coach, Coach Sheppard, suggested that I should try out for a club team so at 12, I started my club volleyball career with Eastern Volleyball Academy. I have been playing with them for 4 years now. I am currently a sophomore in high school that has been playing on the varsity team since freshman year. I ended my 2021 sophomore fall season with 306 kills, 19 blocks, 123 digs, and 30 aces. On the off season when I am not playing club or high school volleyball, I do skills, strength and ability training as well as privates. Academically, I am a straight-A honors student that makes Principal’s List each marking period. I strongly take pride in my grades, especially with taking almost all honors classes. I aspire to be some kind of lawyer in the future, and I am in the Law Academy at my school. I am also a member in various clubs at my school because I feel that being active in activities outside of school and volleyball is very crucial.” – Dajah Williams
