With the 2021 Spring girls volleyball regular season winding to a close, teams eligible for postseason play will be ramping up the energy for the NJSIAA state playoff tournaments.

Here are where all the NJAC teams have been seeded:

North 1, Group 1 – First Round Starts April 13th

Mountain Lakes is the 9-seed and will take on Paterson Arts on the road. The winner of that matchup will play the winner of the Midland Park vs. Saddle Brook game.

Pequannock is the 5-seed, who will host Waldwick. The winner of this game plays either Leonia or Paterson Charter.

3-seed Kinnelon will host 11-seed Bogota. Last season, Kinnelon’s season was ended at the hands of Bogota in the NJSIAA Group 1 tournament in 2019. The winner plays either Cresskill or New Milford.

North 1, Group 2 – First Round Starts April 13th

The NJAC American division champion Sparta Spartans have earned the 1-seed, as well as a first-round bye. Sparta will play either Ramsey or Pascack Hills.

Speaking of champions, the NJAC Freedom division champion Jefferson Falcons have earned the 3-seed. They too, have earned a bye and will play either Lakeland or River Dell.

Vernon is the 11-seed and will hit the road to take on 7-seed Dumont. The winner of that matchup will play at 2-seed Demarest.

North 1, Group 3 – First Round Starts April 12th

Two NJAC foes will face-off in an 8/9-seed matchup. 9-seed Morris Hills will travel to 8-seed Mount Olive. Let it be known that Mount Olive has defeated Morris Hills one time this season, 2-0.

Montville has earned the 11-seed and will take on Fair Lawn. The winner of that game will take on 3-seed Morris Knolls. Morris Knolls has defeated Montville in their only head-to-head matchup this season. Knolls is also the NJAC National division champions.

Roxbury is the 7-seed and will host Wayne Hills. The winner of that matchup will take on 2-seed Tenafly. Tenafly received a first-round bye.

North 1, Group 4 – First Round Starts April 12th

Randolph is the 8-seed and will play host to 9-seed Montclair. The winner of that game will hit the road and play 1-seed Bergen Tech.

11-seed Morristown will travel to Passaic Tech, vying for the right to play the winner of the Clifton vs. Hackensack game.

North 2, Group 1 – First Round Starts April 13th

The 12-seed Whippany Park Wildcats will take on 5-seed Wood-Ridge. The winner will play either Cedar Grove or Passaic Charter.

North 2, Group 2 – First Round Starts April 13th

The Madison Dodgers have earned the 1-seed and will have a first-round bye. The Dodgers will host either 9-seed Hanover Park or 8-seed Rutherford.

In a 6/11 matchup, Parsippany will host West Essex, with the winner playing Caldwell.

Morris Tech will travel to Garfield, playing for date at 2-seed Fort Lee.

North 2, Group 3 – First Round Starts April 12th

Top-seeded Chatham will host the winner of Payne Tech vs. Cranford.

Mendham has earned the 3-seed and will host Snyder, with the winner playing either Ferris or Warren Hills.

The Wolfpack of West Morris will travel to Millburn in a 7/10 matchup. The winner will play either Belleville or Nutley.

Non-Public A – First Round Starts April 15th

The 6-seed Pope John Lions will travel to Kent Place in the first round. The winner will take on defending 2019 NJ Tournament of Champions winner Immaculate Heart.

Non-Public B – First Round Starts April 12th

The NJAC Liberty division champions and 1-seed Morris Catholic Crusaders will host the winner of Montclair Immaculate vs. St. Elizabeth play-in game. St. Elizabeth is the 9-seed.

Morristown-Beard will be the 6-seed and travel to 3-seed St. Mary (Rutherford) in the second round.

7-seed Villa Walsh will host St. Dominic in the other play-in game, with the winner playing 2-seed Montclair Kimberley.
