High School girls in New Jersey continue to get amazing opportunities to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level for volleyball. NJP continues to add players to its database who have elected to join their academic and athletic goals in college.

We currently have almost 75 girls who will continue to play after high school. We acknowledge that our database is not complete in this area and we continue to invite players and coaches to share this information with us when it becomes available. Roughly 2% of high school athletes in NJ volleyball will further their athletic journey.

The make-up of the NJ volleyball commitments are as follows:

D3 is the sweet spot for the vast majority of NJ volleyball athlete’s. But the percentage of higher level commits continues to rise. It is notable to see the rise of beach volleyball in NJ. It would not surprise us to see high school’s start to initiate beach programs or start new or to train beach as part of their high school programs in the future.
