Esmae Oehler

Former Northern Highland outside hitter Esmae Oehler has made a big splash for the Muhlenberg College volleyball program in her first week of playing as a freshman. Oehler was one of the standout players this Spring in New Jersey at the high school level, leading her Highlander team to an early season win against eventual #1 ranked team Immaculate Heart Academy.

She had a superlative career at the high school level and is off to an amazing start as a freshman in college. In the Mules first 4 games, Oehler has smashed a team leading 36 kills as well as 26 digs for a Muhlenberg team that is currently 2-2 at D3. She was instrumental in the teams wins against Ramapo and Hunter.

Esmae shared with us “My first couple of weeks being a part of this team have been fun, a great learning experience, and competitive. I’ve learned so much from this group of girls, and I cannot wait to continue to grow as a team.”
