Well, the first official night of the state playoffs has concluded with 15 more teams having their seasons end in our single elimination format. In just a few more days, we will be down to just 16 teams left in the tourney, 4 in each section. Of the 15 games reported tonight, the NJP Predictor was 14-1 with a lone scar delivered by Hammonton as they upended Pinelands today. There is a long way to go with more than 60 games left in the total bracketology, but it was a very good start. We have been hitting around the 85% win rate in past playoff seasons for both boys and girls. So the 93% win ratio tonight is exceeding expectations.
Math is a wonderful thing. (Write that down, you might forget it…)
Here are the 4 brackets with more predictions for Tuesday’s schedule. This will be updated nightly.
