The Southern Rams took down Donovan Catholic in a battle of undefeated teams in Manahawkin. The Griffins came out strong winning the first set over the Rams 25-22. Jordyn Hamlin had another top performance with 10 digs, 3 blocks, and 11 kills. Sarah Capone had 9 kills and Molly Regulski posted 21 assists. East Brunswick visited Notre Dame in an interesting non-league matchup. East Brunswick, after opening the season at 6-0, lost 6 of their next 8 games, albeit to some very good NJ squads. Notre Dame has been excellent all season in the BCSL and has battled Princeton for top honors. The Irish came out strong and mauled the Bears in the first set 25-18 but the rest of match found EB edging the Irish in both sets 26-24. Nice win for the Bears as they head to Old Bridge tomorrow.
