We are up over 1,000 games for the season and the statistical data has surpassed the sample size to achieve significant confidence levels. The algorithm is functioning at 87% year-to-date.

In other county/conference tournament games tonight…

Jackson Memorial held off Lacey after a tight first set to win 25-23, 25-7. The Jaguars now advance to the semi-final round of the Shore Conference playoffs and will play Southern. The other Shore semi-final is CBA vs Wall.

Lots of first round playoff matchups today in the State tournament. In the Central, Iselin Kennedy, Marlboro, St. Joe’s, East Brunswick, Wall and Colonia advanced with straight set wins. Hats off to first year program Monroe who not only won their division in the first year but has now won their first state playoff game as they took down Hopewell Valley in straight sets.

In North 1, Wayne Hills defeated Paterson Eastside to end their season. And as expected in North 2, both Union and St. Peter’s Prep advanced to Round two with easy victories. In the South Sectional, Southern, Williamstown, and Manchester Township advanced as well.

NJP interviewed WWPN sophomore Max Finkielstein today and his article is at https://njpowerranking.com/2021/05/26/wwpns-max-finkielstein-is-youthful-star-for-northern-knights/
